A software developer at heart, I have been writing code since I was six years old and have been active in the industry since the earliest days of the internet. I graduated with a Masters in Computer Science and Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. I remain a Microsoft Certified Developer (MSCD) and Microsoft Certified Solutions Associate (MSCA), am active in the software developer community as Head Judge at Hack Manchester, hold the CompTIA Certified Technical Trainer (CTT+) qualification and have been a Microsoft Certified Trainer. I was CEO of Koderly and am very involved with education, sitting on the Board of a Multi-Academy Trust. I volunteer as a youth worker.
