Kathryn is a Director at Definition Consulting – Marketing & Business Development Consultancy.
With a career in sales and marketing roles spanning 20 years, Kathryn set up Definition Consulting in 2016 with business partner Kirsty Forman.
Throughout her career, Kathryn has developed and implemented successful sales, business development and marketing strategies, predominantly for clients within professional services, finance, manufacturing and tech businesses, from start-ups to well established medium sized enterprises.
Kathryn is a well-known figure in the North West professional business community and has a proven track record of working with clients to increase revenue for their business via focused sales and marketing activities. Kathryn and her team work with both owner-managed businesses, acting as their outsourced marketing department, or in-house marketing teams to provide support on specific activities or strategic planning. Kathryn, along with the team at Definition Consulting, has built an enviable client base both here in the UK and, more recently, on an international basis.
Kathryn is a firm believer in the full integrated sales and marketing process – and delivering what it says on the tin. A marketing campaign is more than the creation of a campaign and its delivery – it’s also about following-up, analysing results and measuring what works. By using tried and tested techniques, this approach has been instrumental in helping businesses across a wide range of b2b industries achieve sustainable growth.
As a Director at Definition Consulting, Kathryn uses her business development background to attract and secure new clients. Kathryn’s role also involves her working on an ongoing basis with existing clients to ensure they continue to achieve their objectives from their marketing activity. Kathryn has also been asked by a number of clients to act as a non-executive board member, to attend regular meetings and advise on sales and marketing strategy.
